24.Dec.2008… i think i started at 6pm CST from my apartment. picked up Somu/Debu/Ambooj and we were all thrilled to watch Ghajini.. hollywood theatre.. yeah !! that was the plan we thought we would reach much before 6.45pm .. of course i was driving so irving was just 14-15 mins far.

then after 10-15 calls through in that 14-15 mins, it was almost sure that we wont get a chance to watch that movie today.. sachin.. then sumit, then elsa.. again sachin.. again sumit.. oh.. ajay.. then sumit.. then sachin.. by the time i could realize we were at Fun-Asia theatre.. hmmm.. the theatre was itself closed..

went back to Hollywood theatre.. only show was at 7pm and we had no idea that it would be houseful.. huh!!

Google Chrome Sucks

when i read about the tuesday (09/02) release of google’s new browser called Chrome… i waited … i went to the URL.. kept checking that URL till i got the download link .. 

i know i have waited just like an apple fan waiting for the new iphone or a sony fan waiting for PS3..

but i was very very very disappointed after i started using google Chrome..

as i try different websites.. which i frequently visit.. i find so many issues with google Chrome..

[i hope all these issues are with my poor laptop hardware and software ]

1. initial load takes long enough to piss me off

2. even google maps are not loading in flickr page, but when clicked on the zoom level, it did show up.

3. my space page by default takes me to the bottom of the page..

4. gmail takes the longest to load [compared to IE8 and Firefox 3.0]

5. the irritating pop up blocker doesnt go unless closed… 

6. my company’s vpn doesnot work at all in google Chrome..

7. facebook links dont work in google chrome

He came to pick her up!

Kabir was standing with a red rose in front of her apartment. That day it was raining incessantly. And it does not take much to conclude that Kabir didn’t have an umbrella. [He had put umbrella in the list of items which he expected as dowry from her   ] He was completely drenched but [afterwards] he insisted that the rose was not as wet as he was. Ohh!! I forgot to mention that he was just wearing his regular shorts [which he hardly washes!!] and of course the best part was he hadn’t taken bath that day so getting wet in rain :d
And he tries calling her from his mobile phone. He has the best phone in the world. RAZR. But only he knows that it’s a defunct piece  So he went ahead and knocked the door of her apartment. No response. Waited for another 5 mins and rang the door bell. Still no response. He was frustrated :@ as he was running late for his friends daaru party  So he thought better luck next time with next in line girl ;) 

Finally he started his bike [yes, he bought this bike with one condition, he would allow only girls in the pillion rider seat and fortunately not even a single girl sat behind him for last 5 years].

 

“Kabirrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr “ ..

sounded just like some granny shouting at top of her pitch.

He tried to ignore that, but thought “some girl” after all As he looked in his rear view mirror and saw Anvesha, his girl friend.

Oh Shoot!! He turned his bike around as he was trying to impress his girl, but little did he realize that he was already on ground as he fell down from bike.

“ha ha!!” laughed Anvesha.

After that only sound that you could hear was rain dropping on the road !!

Somehow with much difficulty, he lifted himself and gave the rose to his lady love. She coyly accepted the mud smitten rose, smiled back and ran back to her apartment.
“Finally” someone trapped !! yes !! with a sigh of accomplishment.

He tried to lift his bike but couldnot.

 

Then he came back and slept as if it was a dream

ooooooopppppppppps this is wat happened…

No that day it was not raining and He came to pick her up!
