. slowly the sound of “thank you” grew louder and it was the next moment when i realized that the ticket collector had come. after confirming with krishnendu, i asked for one way trip to South Station stop, please
. 4.25 sir. the ticket was almost 1/3 of a A4. surprised to see that. no paper conservation or whatsoever.
the whole journey i was just looking outside the window.. sometimes looking at fellow passengers.. each and everyone was reading something.. man! they dont waste a single moment…
finally i heard..”last and final stop.. south station.. change for the orange line..redline or silver line”.. just when i stepped outside the T.. i felt a chill… new work place.. how will it be? who will be my manager?
prayed to GOD for a while and then went to the main arena.. from there i was led by krishnendu to silver line stop..
but before i could enter that zone i needed a token of 1.25USD… got that quarter-dollar-like token… slid it into the token area.. and went ahead…
office was just the 2nd stop in that silver line route..
again walked and found myself infront of the lift.. in a moment i was in 8th floor…
my workplace…
searched for my place.. and then met my managers.. and all was set …
welcome aboard!!
