Amsterdam

Amsterdam

Well, flight for Amsterdam started late from Hyderabad, but landed before schedule. Don’t ask me how. No idea.

At Amsterdam immigration check I was asked more questions than they ask normally. The visa officer liked my face, may be J.

It was marathon 6 hrs wait at Amsterdam airport. And waiting there at airport was very boring. [after the Singapore episode, I was sure I wud do something].

Went to wireless zone, and just when I was taking out my laptop, an elderly guy comes and sits next to me. I started interacting with him, and was really pleased when he said he is from Wal-Mart. He looked after the textile domain of Wal-Mart. With questions ranging from why Wal-Mart is so cheap, to RFID in Wal-Mart, I really bugged him. He knew about IITs / IIMs. He was humble and was it was very kind of him to share his experience and knowledge with a stranger like me. He invited me to his place [he is a US citizen, but from Greece] and left to catch his flight.

Detroit

Again luggage checking. I had my passport checked by a big fat cute lady. She didn’t bother to check my visa documents. Happily I went ahead, only to be stopped by one Mexican looking guy to check my luggage. Done with that, I barged ahead only to find escalators and more escalators. Detroit airport was huge. Larger than I expected. Had to take a metro rail to go to A67 terminal. Waited there for about an hour. Was very difficult to keep awake. Was successful of late, thanks to EYE CANIDES. Jumped into plane to get a disgusting window seat surrounded by kaloo mamoos.

Boston

Reached boston again 30mins before time.

Krish came a minute after. With one more guy, Milan. It was NO so cold outside. But only for that night. After that its freezing cold
