2.5Hrs to E-City !!!!

Posted in Electronics City on Monday, October 24, 2005 by akashsaurav

i took the 7.10am bus to office … the road till the main road was at such a horrible state that even the bmtc bus driver found it very difficult to maneuver.
luckily there were not many pride apartment dwellers boarding our bus.. and as usual we were at BTM main road at 7.30am. but to my surprise there was a traffic jam from that place till silk board[after that it was difficult to see].. and after about 30mins we reached silk board flyover… oh my god ! there were trucks.. buses.. cars.. almost everywhere.. it was a very very bad traffic jam…

and the traffic police directed us to take the sarjapur road instead.. and our bus driver didnt know the route… but he had no other option and had to drive straight.
he tried to take right turns at some places.. but ppl were coming back from those roads..and those ppl were updating that the place is also full with water and it was difficult for a bus to go by that road.. finally we took 3rd right turn and tried to be adventurous.. and after travelling smoothly for some 4-5 kms.. we were struck.. long stretch of mini buses struck.. we got down.. took some pics with tea and biscuits in hand.. and after sometime.. we decided that we will walk till Hosur Road [it was abt 1.5-2 kms from that place].. walked in that muddy Hosa Palya..and finally reached Hosur Road after 20mins.. catched Infy Bus [agara lake bus] and by the time we reached office.. it was 9.40am.

that was the most wonderful day !! wah !!
all set to get the whole amount i invested in real estate..along with some returns ;)
i was all day in bike… for some reasons it got delayed by 5 hours.. and the guy told me to come by 4pm.. [me thinks that its all based on time.. rahu ketu..;)].. got out of that movie at half time…:( ..and then the moment i started my bike at Forum.. it started raining.. decided that i will go anyway.. so went to that place.. it was raining so heavily that the rain drops felt like arrow heads… still wanted to finish that business… waited there for 1 hour.. and then came back to my place.. by that time it had stopped raining..
Bannerghatta road was as usual dusty .. not a single drop of water in that area..
reached home.. changed quickly.. and was about to sleep ;) when i remembered that i had to get some “other” documents… again i decided to go and catch that person so that i get all the documents.. and as it was not raining so i went on my “trinity” [thats my bike :D ].. i called that person and got to know that i have to come till airport road.. i started happily.. by the time i reached BTM-udupi garden road, it started raining very heavily.. somehow i managed to stop near a shop.. was stranded for 1 hr or so.. then the shop owner started bugging me.. whats the milage sir.. whats the maintenance sir.. anyway i was almost drenched till bones.. so i thought lets move on..
reached airport road.. got all the documents.. and returned back home at double the speed.
it was great getting wet in the rain.. knowingly.. and happily :)

Life

Everybody Knows:
You can’t be all things to all people.
You can’t do all things at once.
You can’t do all things equally well.
You can’t do all things better than everyone else.
Your humanity is showing just like everyone else’s.

So:
You have to find out who you are, and be that.
You have to decide what comes first, and do that.
You have to discover your strengths, and use them.
You have to learn not to compete with others,
Because no one else is in the contest of *being you*.

Then:
You will have learned to accept your own uniqueness.
You will have learned to set priorities
and make decisions.
You will have learned to live with your limitations.
You will have learned to give yourself
the respect that is due.
And you will be a most vital mortal.

Dare To Believe:
That you are a wonderful, unique person.
That you are a once-in-all-history event.
That it’s more than a right, it’s your duty to be who you are.
That life is not a problem to solve, but a gift to cherish.
And you’ll be able to stay one up on what used to get you down.

Run For The Lorry

Naveen dropped till JP ring road and from that point me and vineet decided that we will walk down to our home. we chose the ranka colony road [honestly no sane human being would ever take that road!! ].. we somehow managed to reach in one piece and as we reached little early than the usual time so we decided to have dinner at our usual place.. the famous or infamous Curry House..
we had nice dinner and about to return back to our home when it suddenly started to rain.. and there we were !!… stranded in that place for about 10-15 mins…then we dodged rain ;) and somehow reached the otherside of the road..
we continued our adventure till it started raining very heavily.. so there we stood.. didnt have a clue what to do !!
just then a lorry passed by.. and our team lead mr. vineet shouted for help.. before he stopped his lorry to listen to our cry for help.. we all 4 were inside the lorry.. mishra holding that rope as if he is pulling a tree down.. and vineet sat like a contract labourer going home after a hectic day.. and neelu standing with much difficulty but he was laughing like anything..
we jumped out of lorry in front of our house.. and the adventure ended :)
